HELLY NAHMAD GALLERY | MADISON AVENUE | NEW YORK, NY

When Helly Nahmad Gallery on Madison Ave. presented SOUTINE/BACON, the first comparative exhibition of Chaim Soutine and Francis Bacon, IPD Partners was the contractor selected to turn the 4,500sf retail gallery into museum‐quality space.

In order to display such works on loan from the world’s most venerable institutions, including the Tate Modern and MoMA, the atmosphere of the gallery was required to be kept strictly to an exactingstandardoftemperatureandhumiditylevels. Thiswork required modifying existing HVAC systems, adding humidification systems, VFD drives, and sophisticated controls. IPD Partners successfully accomplished this work, along with an associated build out that created an entirely new design using level‐5 gallery wall construction. A polished Italian marble floor topped off the project.

The Nahmad Show was a huge success, and the staff of IPD Partners was thanked personally by the family for creating the spectacular space; Coming from the pre‐eminent family of masterpieces, we don’t feel there is a higher compliment one could receive!
